Privacy Policy

This policy applies to information collected or submitted on SnapCaster's website and the iPhone or iPad app.

Information we collect

The SnapCaster iOS app includes limited components of the Firebase mobile platform to provide crash reporting and basic analytics to help us improve the app. These are aggregate, anonymous statistics such as monthly active users and device type usage (e.g iPad or iPhone).

The SnapCaster iOS app also includes Google AdMob ads. Google may use the advertising identifier from your device(s) to infer interests, demographics and other data to show you more relevant ads. Your device advertising identifier can be disabled or reset by following these instructions from Apple

SnapCaster media privacy

SnapCaster protects your media data privacy. Photos and music are only accessed in the app after explicit user permission is requested and granted. All user media is kept within the local wifi network used by the app and the connected Chromecast device and not transmitted to, or stored on, any external servers.

Google Cast privacy settings
